Who we are

RapGlow (rapglow.com) is an independent tool that turns one photo into a short vertical rap video using a template clip. This policy explains what we collect when you use the site and what we do with it.

The short version

• Your uploaded photo is used only to make the video you asked for. We don't keep a copy on our own servers, and our video provider deletes it automatically within 72 hours.
• Your generated videos are stored so you can watch and download them. Email us and we will delete them.
• We don't sell your data, and we don't use your photos or videos to train AI models.
• Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

What we collect

1. Account information. Your email address and name, plus your profile picture if you sign in with Google.
2. Photos you upload. The photo (or two photos, for a duo template) you choose for a render, and the template you pick.
3. Generated videos. The videos created for you.
4. Purchases and credits. What you bought, when, your credit balance and how it was used. Payment details stay with Stripe.
5. Usage and device data. Pages visited, buttons used, browser and device type, approximate location from your IP address, and error logs. We use this to run the service, prevent abuse and enforce rate limits.
6. Cookies. Cookies keep you signed in and remember your language. If analytics is enabled and we show you a cookie banner, analytics cookies are set only after you accept them, and you can change your choice at any time under Cookie Settings at the bottom of the page.
7. Messages to us. Anything you send to support.

How your photos are handled

When you request a render, your photo is first checked by our content moderation provider, then uploaded to our AI video provider together with the template's source clip and our editing prompt. The provider returns an AI-edited version of that clip in which the performer is replaced with the person in your photo and the people around them are replaced with AI-generated people.

• The provider keeps the uploaded photo for up to 72 hours, then deletes it automatically. We don't store the photo on our own servers.
• The finished video is copied to our storage so the download link keeps working. It stays there until you ask us to delete it or you delete your account.
• Every uploaded photo and every generated video is checked by a third-party automated content moderation service to block content that breaks our Terms. Photos are checked before the render starts; videos are checked before they are delivered to you.
• If a video is blocked, we don't keep or show it, and the credits are returned. The moderation result and its labels are stored with the render record so we can review decisions and answer appeals.

How we use information

• To create your videos and show them in your account.
• To process purchases, grant credits and refund credits for failed renders.
• To send account and service emails: sign-in links, receipts, and a note when your video is ready.
• To keep the service safe: rate limits, fraud prevention and blocking prohibited content.
• To understand how the site is used and improve it.

Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers who help us run the site, and only what they need to do their job:

• AI video generation: a third-party AI video model and the API provider we use to access it.
• Content moderation: a third-party automated moderation service that checks uploaded photos and generated videos.
• Payments: Stripe.
• Hosting and storage: our hosting and object storage providers.
• Email: our transactional email provider.
• Sign-in: Google, if you choose to sign in with it.
• Analytics: our analytics provider, if enabled.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect our users, the public or the service. We never sell personal information.

How long we keep it

• Uploaded photos: deleted by our video provider within 72 hours; not stored by us.
• Generated videos: until you ask us to delete them or delete your account.
• Account, purchase and credit records: while your account exists, plus what tax and accounting law requires.
• Usage logs: up to 90 days.

Your choices

• Download or delete your videos from "My creations", or email us to delete them all.
• Delete your account by emailing us. We remove your account data and videos, keeping only what the law requires us to keep.
• Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or restrict the use of your personal data, and to complain to a data protection authority. Email us to exercise these rights.

Children

The service is for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and uploading photos of minors is not allowed.

Changes

We'll post any changes here and update the date at the top. Significant changes will be announced on the site.
